His influences range from Hip-Hop (Kev Brown, Jay Dee, Pete Rock, Primo ...) through to Soul (Minnie Ripperton, Isaac Hayes, Roy Ayers ...) and, of course, include Jazz (Kenny Burrel, Wes Montgomery, Stan Getz ...) and Funk Jazz (The Crusadors, Mandrill ...). In 2013 he distinguished himself with an L.P. tribute to Gil Scott-Heron.
