We are super excited to present Al Dobson Jr.'s second "Sounds From The Village" issue on almighty Kutmah's Izwid imprint on vinyl. 23 tracks in total. Artwork by Kutmah. Sleeve design by Brandy Flower of the Hit+Run Crew.Volume 2 in the series unearths more drum tracks and abstract musical curation from the Dobson Jr. archives. Fonk tales & movie scene interludes from a span of 2006-2016 compiled by Kutmah.

Kutmah Presents : Sketchbook Radio Archives Vol 1

Kutmah started "Sketchbook" as a radio show in 2003 on Dublab in Los Angeles. A year later "Sketchbook" became the first instrumental beat night in the city. This was the breading grounds for the already flourished but almost unknown beat scene outside of Los Angeles. Artists such as Ras G, Dibiase, Georgia Anne Muldrow and Flying Lotus would frequent the club and would bring beat CD's to showcase their talent whenever they pleased and Kutmah always got their beat CD's at the end of the night."Sketchbook Archives Series" is a compilation that dates back to this era and the present day. It features exclusive tracks from artists such as Natureboy Flako, Samiyam, Al Dobson Jr., Ras G, Flying Lotus, Pablo Ygal, Mo Kolours, Shash'u and many more.

REPRESS The third instalment on Kutmah's experimental IZWID imprint, south London DJ and producer Al Dobson Jr. creates a 15 track deep, exploration of soulful, tribal drums and abstract musical curation. Otherworldly and nuanced beats re-imagine the score of the sampledelic funk tale. One that's non-geographical but rather lost in loops, journeying through the time and space that exists within your headphones. Alternating between cosmic vocal rips and a myriad of loose, soul-infused beat tape-style sketches with its digital flourishes, "Sounds from the Village Vol. 1" sees the sunrise and sunset over a bohemian musical vista.
