Flumo Limited are happy to present a Various Artists release focusing on sampling some of the inspirational and creative souls surrounding their house.Label native Ekkohaus opens up with a driving beat, representative by the vibes he generates often in the clubs he visits.The playful application of effects on the hi-hats corresponds with the melodically rhythmic bass line, without losing any of the focus towards the intent of movement instigation.London's local Joe Europe alternates the tempo back down with a well contrasting rhythm and synth interplay, exposing a deeper groove that's bound to draw any dancer to the front and centre with a teasing, swinging, funky cut.Next up one of label's all time role models steps up Gene Hunt presents HaHaHa a straight up party jam aimed straight at the dancefloor.Rounding off the sampler Nicson offers up The Way I Think Of You, a trip of happiness, boogie and friendship.

2016 repress!!! Based around a phat muddy bassline ( From Nancy Martin's 'I can't believe') that walks through the whole track getting you crazy with ticking hihats and all. The flip is a slow groover with typical melodies and beats.

YES! We hadn't heard anything from Detroit's Kai Alce in a while so it's an absolute joy to see him back on our shelves and doing what he does best. This, of course, is a reissue of the "Dirty South Dirt" anthem that came out as a 7" on Omar S' FXHE label a while back but it hasn't been around for a while and some of us still hadn't picked up this absolute gem! Slow-building percussion and funky yet minimal melodies make up the track, and you also get a string-heavy version, too! On the flip, you have "Late Night Theme" and the bumpy "Work The Dub" to swing you from side to side. Highly recommended and downright essential.

Assisted by long-time studio partner Kaidi Tatham, former 4 Hero man Dego's been on fire of late, delivering killer singles - and a fine album - for the likes of Eglo and Rush Hour. Here he pops up on Neroli again with more superb, soul-flecked dancefloor fare. "Don't Stop (Let It Go)" is particularly potent, offering a disco and jazz-funk influenced chunk of celebratory deep house laden with thrilling live instrumentation from members of "the 2000 Black family" (Tatham and others, basically). He completely flips the script on "Save It Till Later", a refreshingly rough and ready chunk of bass-heavy, acid-flecked house/techno fusion that benefits greatly for some particularly warped electronics. Darkness and light on one 12"; what's not to like?
