It was too hard to resist another Record Store Day outing once Pontchartrain dropped these edits on us. A very special, limited run of 500 'spatter' design vinyl copies will give way to 'The Pontchartrain Edits' marking our return to RSD for 2016.12 Inch Vinyl 3 Colour Splatter effect.

Volume 7 of the series includes tracks by VinylAddicted, Dan Johnson, Get Down Edits and Osmose, both with uptempo and beatdown reworks................

Fresh from his collaborative EP with Loz Goddard on Dirt Crew, Harry Wolfman brings his inimitable style to Secret Reels with a perfect summer 3 tracker.Lead track 'Casillero' is a slice of sun-kissed vocal house with Rhodes so warm they will have you reaching for the ice bucket! Bristolian singer Ella Chi adds the soul with her gospel-esque vocal performance, this wouldn't sound out of place in a basement or on a Thai beach in the blazing sun.Second track Mango Lime oozes class, freshly squeezed low slung funk of the highest order. If this were a cocktail, you would get the sweetness of the vocal snip, Rhodes and bassline but with the kick of the acid and synth line. Like any good cocktail, it will get the party started.If you don't know about Saine, then you better get to know! He has impressed on EP's for Odd Socks, Fools & Fables and the always on-point Sleazy Beats. Laid back grooves are what this remix is all about. Saine slows things down and lays down a bassline so smooth it will have you gliding across the dancefloor. He adds his signature synth lines to round things off.Final track Media Shy is the stomper of the EP with a kick bigger than Kanye West's overdraft. This sounds absolutely massive in a club, the bassline is ominous yet the hi-hats make you want to nod your head.

UK residents Lee Dearn & Chris James Crowther comprise the deep house duo better known as Purple Velvet. In addition to running their own label, Secret Reels, the boys have also had releases on labels such as Local Talk, Dirt Crew, & Large Music. Their brand of spaciously deep, soulful deep house is a perfect fit for us here at Kolour LTD so the combination of forces was inevitable. For extra measure - we've assigned remix duties to our dear friend thatmanmonkz. Fresh off his smashing LP for Delusions of Grandeur, our boy Scott delivers the goods in prime fashion once again to help us round out our 25th release on Kolour LTD.

In a world where a lot of music can sound the same, YSE Saint Laur'Ant is like a red umbrella in a sea of grey.For years he has shown a gift for choosing a unique array of samples to paint a picture. Then building upon them with warm, slinky and expressive drums. His first outing on Editorial's Waxed series 'Faux Me?tier' in 2014 was a definite hit. Here he returns to Editorial with his "Cure For Gravity" EP as a special Record Store Day ReleaseWe will let the music do the talking from here.
