Happy Milf Records are proud to present Tony Cook’s The Lost Tapes Vol. 1, a 4 track EP, consisting of all original Modern Funk/Proto-House previously unreleased songs.The legendary Tony Cook, one of the most influential artists of Funk music, and James Brown’s drummer, has produced many great records since the early 80’s, from Boogie, Electro Funk, and House Music.This EP showcases the versatility of Tony Cook’s creative repertoire and is a testament to his very unique style of production.

This is a big one, the first official new music from LOGG since their monster classic album release in 1981. Marc Mac on remix duties bringing back some of that super Disco-Boogie flavour on the main mix, and a nu school boogie flex on the flip. Also included is the fantastic original version by Leroy Burgess and LOGG. All previously unreleased tracks.Only 500 limited edition vinyl copies available.

Tom Findlay (Groove Armada) and James Alexander Bright's relationship started on Twitter (a place where hope usually goes to die) However, Tom had listened to James' recent release on the radio reached out to chat about working together on some tracks. Over a few months in the studio they created a mountain of work, some of which would feature on Groove Armada's recent 'Edge Of The Horizon' album.Having enjoyed working together so much, they decided to start their own project and Bright & Findlay was born. The first track they worked on together is featured as the lead on this 12" was 'Slow Dance' Funky party track with its feet firmly in 80s boogie territory and. Following tracks seemed to interweave / play alongside each other. Drums machine / chorus laden synths and guitars, and a soulful vocal are a staple of their sound.When Tom and James sent the EP over I was down from 20 seconds into the first track, 80s Boogie, Tangerine dream, Disco rap style rhythms yet totally their own thing. Slow dance was one of those tunes I could see myself dropping mid-set when I want to cool it down and focus the room again, dance floor fire.

DaM-FunK brings his Architecture Trilogy on Saft to a close with a fantastic final EP. The series started in 2016, included the second volume in 2018, and now wraps up with a double 12" packed with heat from the legendary Californian beatmaker.DaM-FunK has been in a class of one since first emerging in 2008. He's a definitive Stones Throw Records artist, musician and vocalist, boss of GlydeZone Recordings, a sometime Snoop Dogg collaborator and prolific producer. What he doesn't know about boogie, g-funk and synth-pop isn't worth knowing, and this final Architecture EP is another doozy.The gorgeous 'Grow' immediately sinks you into a hazy house vibe. Lo-fi beats and farsighted chords melt your heart and lock you in a gentle groove. 'Night Kruise' lays down a classic DaM-FunK bassline then builds it up with melancholic keys and lowslung funk that is simply irresistible, then 'Think' ups the pace with a punchy but still deep house groove, heat-damaged chords and a clipped bass phrase that makes you move.The seductive sounds continue through the balmy 'Feel' in which you can almost see palm trees and burnt orange Cali skies as the low riding groove skates along in lovably low key fashion. 'Sun Gospel' is a perfectly rough edge MPC workout with busy keys, scruffy kicks and bright boogie all jostling for your attention, and 'Shine' closes with a prickly boom-bap, knotted bassline and epic prog-guitar riffs that ring out into a latenight sky.Architecture III is another heart aching, humid and feel-good house EP from the one and only DaM-FunK.
