Repress in blue vinyl !!The late French soundtrack composer (1939-1975) was one of the first to use frequency modulators on an 8 track homestudio. He was known for his melodic works mixing electronic & acoustic. His oeuvre has been sampled by many. This release devotes a posthumous work composed for a Cousteau documentary which was refused, probably beacuse it was too avant-garde. On the second disc you'll find different tasty style-exercises that show to what extend Roubaix manipulated the modulators with ingenuity.

Mr Bongo's Brazil 45s series gets its rock on with two hairy grooves, both of which have enjoyed the sampler's crafty knives over the years. First up, Tom Ze's "Jimmy Renda-se" rolls with an oily sleazy groove that's peppered by a playful lyrical rhythm that transcends language barriers. Ben's "Take It Easy My Brother Charlie" joins the dots between Samba and very light Rock with all the signatures that made Mr Ben the legend he remains to this day with big vocal harmonies and infectious textures of Brazilian percussion.

After making waves in collectors circles for several years, the blueprints for this unique record have been kept and craved 'til they can be cradled no more. Suitably diagnosed as a possible '84 Bobby Nunn production (ZAF - Love Vinyl) and potential lost session by Nunn's 70's disco group of similar spelling (Alex Dimitriades); Wax Museum Records have at last shed light on this mysterious boogie 12".The title track 'Oasis Boulevard' (non ashamedly referencing the neon and silk fuelled heyday of 80's Miami) is a blissful drive down memory lane. The same analogue synth and drum machine grime continues on the flip 'Hotline' with the notable appearance of SoCAL's Moni Mendoza on vocals.Rumour has it that executive production was overseen by Benny Badge prior to his early Nite Class and Freekwency records, but of this no one can be 100% certain...
