We're launching a bit of a one-off series here at Kolour LTD called "10's". They'll be a series of two-track, 10" releases that we'll sprinkle in from time-to-time along the way. Our first offering comes courtesy of our boy Chezz. We'll let the music do the rest!

Paxton Fettel embodies everything we're about at Kolour LTD. "Will it Berghain" is the culmination of a vision that was designed with paying homage to the reason(s) we all started doing what we do. With previous releases on Apersonal & his debut LP on Greta College Workshop - we're pleased to finally welcome Paxton Fettel to our family at Kolour LTD in 2016

This year we have reached our long term goal as a label which was to expand our releases into the wax department. We feel like we've done a good job bringing upcoming and original local talent to the surface so far and it is only fitting that our first vinyl release is done by the Icelandic duo David & Hjalti.The duo has been busy with the production since their arrival from Manchester and have played a number of great live sets underlining their skills as producers. We feel that this release is the high standard we set ourselves before going vinyl and that this is just a small first step in a fruitful beginning for the producers David & Hjalti.

A man with a hunger for new records that has seen him included as a featured Bandcamp fan alongside the likes of Gilles Peterson.K15 is known to many musical worlds; a go-to on the UK soul/jazz circuit, with production on Belle's Lapwing EP, and DJ sets supporting the likes of Bilal and Marsha Ambrosius; a figure on the beat scene with his hypnotic instrumental tapes; and spinner of infectious dancefloor oddities old and new across London. This EP presents yet another facet, the soulful, jazz-inflected house that has had man-of-the moment Kyle Hall all ashiver.Bordeaux has all the sophistication the name implies, a delicious bubbling bass line with subtle notes of garage and building layers of improvisation providing an earthy jazz undertone. Broken beat legend Kaidi Tatham builds on the chord progression in his soul-laden rework, with light-footed percussion adding brightness to his famously refined palette. House rising stars Glenn Astro & IMYRMIND add body to the original in their rejig, fierce swinging house with sermon-like vocal cuts raising the potency to a powerful climax.B side Hall Of Memories brings its own bubble; simmering, expectant synth textures rising and falling over an evolving bass hook. A perfect summer set opener or closer.This EP represents the all-encompassing but distinctive flavours that K15 has made his reputation as a DJ on. And how exciting to see him take the first step in another of many directions, with great leaps certain to come.

Andy Hart returns after an almost two-year hiatus from the studio to release his first EP on the Voyage imprint. Following on from Urulu's Greetings From Namek, Mistress In Your Mind is the sixth release and adds to a growing collection that already includes releases from Harvey Sutherland, M5K and CTEPEO '57.Mistress in your Mind loosely stems from the intertwining influences of a love-induced delusion broken down over four tracks. Hart draws sentiment from several aspects of his record collection, giving subtle nods to break beat, soul, acid and space-laden house.

With releases on Rush Hour, Mister Saturday Night and Delusions of Grandeur, Nebraska is a man who needs little introduction.Here, he delivers an amazing EP for Heist, showcasing his talent for finding those catchy, but hard to pin-down samples. The Soften the wireless EP navigates nicely between disco and house with 4 originals and an amazing Tom Noble remix.Khan's bargain will be the go to track the more disco minded listeners out there, with a catchy-as-hell synth line that you wish you'd made up yourself.The remix, courtesy of NYC's finest disco selector Tom Noble, goes on a clubbier path, turning the silky smooth original into a distorted house jam full of delays and filtered drums. The B-side sees Nebraska turning towards the housier side of things himself, with The blues as a perfect example of minimalistic house.Here, he uses only a small amount of elements to create an intoxicating and intense groove. Having taken its natural course over the past 18 months Peckham's YAM Records are making the move from retail to production. Continuing our celebration of local talent, both unsung and established, we aim to bring all styles of music together under the YAM Recordings wing.They’ve been a permanent and ever-­‐hilarious part of the shop since day one so it only seemed right that our first release should feature Chaos In The CBD. Distilling their sound over the past few years, Beans and Louis make the highest quality house music, which is perfectly demonstrated on this two-­‐track EP.'Global Erosion' sees long-­‐time collaborator Isaac Aesili contribute horn hooks and live percussion to this truly deep and emotional journey. On the flip, 'Background Explorer' turns up the heat with an 8-­‐minute heads-­‐down transcendental percussion and drum workout, the surging chords and rainforest calls forcing the head to follow the feet.
