From Canada to the UK, this skillful and ever-present producer brings over 20 years of talent and experience to bear on this exciting new release.We delve into the offering firstly with the titular track: O. A soft and muted start slowly builds up into a fizzy melodic vibe that is undercut with a tasty bass riff. As the track drives on, the harmonies continue to build until they crescendo with a dreamy high-end hook juxtaposed with stippled sour characters.Then Mr ARCo. himself, Atjazz, enters the fray with the Galaxy Aart Remix. Staccato rhythms and active bass notes combine with engaging pops of synth to further illustrate Atjazz's mastering of his craft.We follow this with Her, a meaty beats and bass orgy that effortlessly builds into a shimmering and crystalline cut. This track perfectly showcases Fred's commitment to quality legitimate music and you will not be disappointed!We conclude with the shorter and sharper Devil In The Dub remix where only the lightest of tweaks and touches is applied, but this brings a fresh and compelling sound to an already impressive track.

Rose Records co-founder Martin Hayes makes his solo debut on Razor-N-Tape with 4 tracks of down-n-dirty disco and soul! Having previously collaborated on a more production-centered EP on RNT Reserve, Hayes shows us his penchant for digging and slicing up the dustiest of grooves.

ATTD Vol 9 is a banger, fetauring remixes from FOUK, Nachtbraker & Crackazat alongside JN himself.A1. 'I Can Feel Your Body Rock' has shades of Gary's Gang, Tony Lee and Softhouse Co, though none of those are sampled or stolen from. The JN Extended Mix combines boogie bass, 80s electronics, chopped vocals and old school piano for an energetic stormer which has a lot more panache than most. It's danceable but its also full of musicality and made with a lot of love.A2 Dutch duo Daniel Leseman & Hans Peeman have only been producing as Fouk since 2014 with their debut release for Outplay Records immediately catching the attention of Boiler Room. An acclaimed remix of Lay-Far for Sweden's Local Talk Records and their Kill Frenzy EP for Detroit Swindle's Heist imprint plus more remixes for the likes of Kraak & Smaak and Razor-n-Tape cemented the duo as ones to watch for the future. Now they deliver a remix for Z Records taking the title track from The Sunburst Band's classic 1998 debut album and giving the bassline driven funk cut an energetic jazzy 4/4 makeover.B1 Sean's 'It's Time' album was universally well received in the house community, and rightly so, it was a strong debut featuring an array of talented vocalist and strong songs. For this EP the tracky 90's style 'Holding On' gets reworked by Crackazat who keeps the original vibe adding Smack Productions style keys and his trademark jazzy, warm production to Sean's original. Crackazat has come to the attention of dj's including Disclosure, Detroit Swindle and Homework through his releases on Futureboogie and more recently Sweden's Local Talk where he released his latest album 'Crescendo'.B2. Is exclusive to this Release and features a remix from the mighty Nachtbraker rounding off the package in his usual style.

Wonderful re issue of Leroy Burgess (collaborator with Patrick Adams among many others) single "Heartbreaker / Stranger". This single originally released in 1983, his second ever production, showcases his wonderful production and vocal talents on this boogie classic. Shep Pettibone supplies both mixes on this extended 12" from the Salsoul vaults.

BACK IN STOCK !!! Big release here for the Kolour Limited series who've scooped up three feel good house cuts from NDATL Music boss Kai Alice. Based around a self explanatory vocal motif "Ahh!" is the sort of euphoric house track you can drop mid set and stand back and watch as a sea of arms are raised in response. The deft track titling continues apace on "Be-Bop" where skat vocals are the perfect accompaniment to the deep chord progressions and metallic percussion, whilst the B Side plays host to just the one track in "Spring (KZR main)" where Alce gets funkier than a mosquito's tweeter thanks to some psychedelic guitar licks, chiming pads and refined 909 sequencing.

Duckcomb aka Patrick Billiard is one half of Brooklyn's Sharegroove. A longtime Brooklyn DJ and digger, Duckcomb drops two edits from the far corners of the disco stratosphere. 'Bonnevie' is a hands-in-the-air dancefloorgroover with sexy female vocals, funky bongos, synth melodies, and a heartbreaking keyboard solo. 'Every Night' hits us right where it hurts with soft rock for hard times written all over it. Male lead and female backup vocals, night drive guitar solos, and a drummer with a heart of gold, 'Every Night' is just begging to be sampled, like Kurt Hauenstein or Jim Capaldi hid a secret mega tune in some private press tax scam record, knowing Patrick would eventually come along and take care of the rest.
