His modern, dubby production and close attention to the smallest details fuses perfectly with abstract lyrics. This serious-not-serious song treats about people who are from Mars and invade Earth, because 'they can't remember what the forest animals look like, what a farce !Already road tested by the members of TVPC, this Caribbean-East European depth of a groove works perfectly in late night drunk sets.On the B side Eddie C visits executive suite of a cruise ship with his extended, melancholic rework of 'Stoneczna Promenada'. The original tune is an old Polish cocktail-lounge classic from the late 70's, transformed here into a psychedelic story of epic proportions.Moody loops evoke instant headnodding and added dub effects magnify the nostalgic, sunny vibe.

James “Jima” Cappra is a Leo, who hails from Bean Town, and although he sang along with his idols, the Jacksons, Smokey Robinson and Stevie Wonder, he didn’t decide to go public until 1982.Troy DeVoe, a Sagittarian is also from Boston, Mass., and by visiting and observing, taught himself the keyboard in the mid seventies. His original melodies needed lyrics and that’s when he and his life time friend Jima got together. At first it was difficult to convince James that he was a vocalist, but by adding a rhythm section and calling themselves the “Cruise Band”, they were off and playing.The band lasted long enough for Cappra and DeVoe to know that they could work together, and it gave them more confidence. They worked with such artists as Planet Patrol, New Edition, Margo Thunder, Jay Dixon, Maurice Starr, and Larry Wu. James Cappra is Bobby Brown's brother. Troy DeVoe is Ronnie DeVoe's uncle from Bell Biv DeVoe aka BBDCapri and DeVoe’s first album of originals was “Get Street Wise”. Now still writing and arranging, they’ve added producing to their credits. Their new release is entitled “You Are Everything to Me”.

Lynn Williams may not be someone you have heard of but her pedigree is strong. Her father was Hank Ballard (of King and James Brown Fame) and her mother was 60s Miami Radio Personality and dance group leader Vanilla ''Miss Boom Boom'' Williams. Lynn cut 5 Excellent 7"s for various Henry Stone owned Miami labels in the 70s here we present her two most collectable. The first 'It Takes Two' is a smokey deepfunk killer that would cost you £1000 any day of the week for good reason.
